Record

Studio recording and production, plus New York Horns: custom horn sections for artists around the world since 1997. This is where I work. Come on in.

The Room

Two rooms, lots of toys, and everything within reach.

Studio Two, with a window, a second desk, keyboards and monitors.
A rack of synthesizers and processors with colored patch cables in the studio.
Racks of vintage-style compressors and outboard gear in the studio.

My studio is a compact, purpose-built creative room designed for writing, arranging, recording, sound design, mixing and everything that tends to happen somewhere in between. The setup combines a modern DAW-based workflow with tactile control surfaces, synthesizers, modular hardware, high-quality monitoring and a carefully chosen collection of analog outboard gear.

More important than the equipment, though, is the way the room works. Sessions are relaxed, collaborative and deliberately low on friction. Ideas can move quickly from conversation to microphone, MIDI, audio, processing and finished track without the technology getting in the way. Whether we’re recording live instruments, building an arrangement, designing sounds, editing, mixing or simply trying something strange to see what happens, the studio is built to keep the creative process moving.

It’s a working musician’s studio: comfortable, flexible, slightly obsessive, and ready to make some noise.

New York Horns

Custom horn sections for artists around the world since 1997.

From two to twenty pieces and anything in between, with New York Horns, I make adding a world-class horn section to your music remarkably straightforward. Send me your tracks, charts, or even just an idea, and I’ll handle the arranging, orchestration, and recording—or bring your existing arrangements to life. You’ll get professionally recorded, edited, high-quality individual tracks, ready to drop into your session and mix, with the energy, precision, and personality that only real players can deliver.

I can contract any size ensemble for your recording or performance needs, just ask!

Let’s Make Something Together

Your Music. My Studio. Let’s Make Something Happen.

Got a track that needs some horns, woodwinds, EWI, or a little sonic mischief? Let’s get to work. The process is straightforward: send me a message describing your project, what you’re looking for, and when you need it. We’ll talk through the musical details, agree on an approach, timeline, and budget, and take it from there.

Once we’re ready to roll, send me your tracks, stems, rough mixes, charts, MIDI files, or even a half-formed musical idea. I’ll handle the recording, editing, and production on my end, and you’ll receive professionally recorded, mix-ready audio files that drop right into your session. Most projects can be turned around in a matter of days, depending on complexity and scheduling. We’ll establish a delivery date before the first note gets played.

No geographic limitations, no unnecessary complications, and no requirement to understand the alarming quantity of cables in my studio. Just great playing, great sound, and a collaborative process that keeps the focus where it belongs: on your music.

Ready to get started? Drop me a line with a few details about your project, and let’s make some music.
