Blind Squirrel Creative
Where It All Comes Together
I’ve spent my career wearing a ridiculous number of musical hats. Performer, composer, arranger, orchestrator, producer, recording engineer, sound designer, educator—and occasionally several of those at the same time. Blind Squirrel Creative is where all those disciplines come together under one roof. It’s my creative home base, where musical ideas can evolve from the first spark of inspiration to a fully realized production, without the artificial boundaries between writing, playing, recording, and technology getting in the way.
Whether I’m composing for media, arranging a horn section, recording live instruments, designing an entirely new sound, or collaborating with another artist, it’s all part of the same creative process. Each discipline informs the others, and that intersection is where I tend to do my most interesting work.
As for the name? Well, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. I’ve been fortunate enough to find quite a few—and I built a studio around the search.
