(Non Working) TAB-Funkenwerk V78 Preamp

TAB-Funkenwerk V78 tube microphone preamp — a meticulous modern build of a classic German broadcast design. Beautiful top-end air, satisfying midrange, and the kind of weight that records love. This unit is exhibiting some issues on the input path, which I am fairly certain is indicative of a failing tube. As I own three of these units, I am not particularly concerned with tracking down the cause and repairing this one. Since Oliver's death several years ago, these units are becoming more and more difficult to find, and they are definitely worth the trouble to do so. For someone who is technically minded, or looking for that classic German tube preamp sound, this is a wonderful opportunity to own that.
